Cosmist Checks Terran @ Antipodean SF

"'It would be wrong to kill a god or swat a brain. Big fly Zeus? It's wrong, it's wrong! One law for the gods another for the rest. Cosmist checks Terran, that sounds grandiose, but we say modestly, "I am the father of the artificial brain.'" The link to this was lost but here it is again. Likewise, here is the audio.

Cosmist Checks Terran: Pretend the Machine's Human! PDF Print E-mail

By AE Reiff

sfgenreJolted out of nightmare I see vivid scenes of my descendants' deaths in a century or so at the hands of artilects so superior to humans they see us as vermin. The emotional reality and horror of it shake me. I don't remember many dreams, but this nightmare recurs, and wakes me despite my heavy sleep" (Hugo de Garis, The Artilect Wars).

Don't blame me for killing gods first. Kurzweil is not alone! Not all would have to be nouveau riche neurons! Yes, some might fit as mental lords, landowners, shopkeepers, peasants. Gory, we back to the medieval! Simple slaves or simple death. Sky Net, Hollywood got there first. No fun compete with the gods of Olympus, so back again to Balalabamm and Adam, retrogressin' up to Noah, then the flood and the sons of god!

We have more brain than anybody. If machines get a little disrespect from the physical that doesn't mean be bestial, just redirect. "Chakra, charka on the wall, tolerate the intestine, cow and all." Harvested? No doubt. Education and university are retained.

In the condo by the Burning Lake gods by the seaside lie. One can call that paradigm, Transgenic Obsolescence, with every aspect of the subconscious, to obscure the fact of the trans human run! Journalism will have some pull. Great and greater catastrophes will occur to heal the universe.

Our Gnostic entrance to earth time unbelieved, discarnates will make physics real. Once it was thought synthetic mind the paradigm shift of physical and mental superseded. But when the Microphysic Canon came out, mere computational power of a trillion trillion cells condoned contradiction to the soul. Pretend the machine's human. That's the paradox for what the human does. The machine found a way to enter the biosphere through chimeric mutation so it could have a soul.

It would be wrong to kill a god or swat a brain. Big fly Zeus? It's wrong, it's wrong! One law for the gods another for the rest. Cosmist checks Terran, that sounds grandiose, but we say modestly, "I am the father of the artificial brain."
